This site takes a full or "long" URL and converts it into a more manageable or "tinyURL". In order to do this, please follow the instructions below.

• Enter the full URL that you wish to convert to a tinyURL in the textbox that says "Enter Long URL"
• When you push the "Convert" button, the system will automatically take your entered URL and convert it into a tinyURL
• You'll see your newly converted tinyURL in the "Returned URL" section. This new tinyURL consists of randomly generated letters and numbers for uniqueness
• To view your original URL, simply enter the full returned tinyURL (including the prefix) into your browser window
• Please note that URLs must have a dot notation to be valid. For example: http://www.massgeneral.org or simply massgeneral.org
• The http:// and https:// is accepted but not required.
